Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen delivered another dazzling performance, scoring twice as Galatasaray recorded a convincing 3–1 win over Bodø/Glimt in their UEFA Champions League Group Stage clash at the Rams Park Stadium, Istanbul.
The Super Eagles star struck early, finding the net just three minutes into the game with a precise right-footed finish past Mario Lemina to hand the Turkish champions an early lead.
Osimhen doubled the advantage in the 33rd minute, punishing a defensive mistake from Fredrik Bjørkan to slot home his second of the night, giving Galatasaray a comfortable cushion before halftime.
In the second half, Yunus Akgün made it 3–0 with a well-taken strike in the 60th minute, while Andreas Helmersen scored a late consolation for the Norwegian side in the 74th minute.
The victory strengthens Galatasaray’s position in the Champions League league phase, with Osimhen’s brace underlining his world-class form.
The Nigerian striker’s impressive showing comes just days after his hat-trick in Nigeria’s 4–0 win over Benin Republic during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, reaffirming his reputation as one of Africa’s most lethal forwards.
